A fireplace is where everyone sits a little closer. The fire draws the eye, but the room's character comes from what surrounds the fire: stone. Deeply veined marble, restrained granite or modern ceramic turn a firebox into architecture.

The frame around the firebox in solid stone — from strict straight lines to classic profiles. We design every surround for the specific firebox and interior: wood-burning, gas or electric.

We clad an existing fireplace or chimney breast in stone: front, sides, hearth, the protective floor area in front of the firebox. An old fireplace gets a new life without being rebuilt.

Step 1
Enquiry
Send a photo of the fireplace corner or the project via the form below. Quote within 2 hours.
Step 2
Measuring
We measure the firebox, wall and hearth on site. We account for air gaps, safety clearances and the firebox manufacturer's requirements.
Step 3
Fabrication
We cut and finish the stone in our workshop in Tallinn — the surround arrives on site as finished elements.
Step 4
Installation
We install the surround and mantel and seal the joints. Once the sealant has cured, the fireplace is ready to use.
Fireplaces for design projects
We make fireplace surrounds to your sketches, reproducing profiles and radii exactly. We read drawings and coordinate the junctions with the firebox and wall.
Stone samples are in the showroom — we bring them to site if needed. English-speaking project support throughout.

For a classic surround — marble or granite: both handle heat well when designed correctly. For a modern interior with thin lines — ceramic. The choice depends on the firebox and the style: we help you decide during measuring.
Can an existing fireplace be clad in stone?
Yes. First we assess the condition of the structure and take exact measurements of the firebox, chimney breast and surfaces. If the base is sound, the fireplace can be clad without rebuilding.
Do you make surrounds for electric fireplaces?
Yes. A stone surround gives an electric fireplace a fully architectural presence. Installation is simpler than for a wood-burning one, but we always follow the manufacturer's ventilation and fixing requirements.
How long does it take to make a surround?
On average 2–4 weeks from measuring to installation — depending on the material, the complexity of the profiles and the amount of work. We confirm the exact time in the quote.
Do you install the firebox too?
We do the stone part of the project: surrounds, mantels, hearths and details. The firebox is installed by a qualified stove fitter — we coordinate dimensions, air gaps and junctions with them.
